The Ohio University History Graduate Student Association has issued a call for papers for the Tenth Annual Graduate History Conference to be held on Friday and Saturday February 6-7, 2015 at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. The organizing committee is seeking graduate students from all disciplines to submit proposals on any historical topic.
The conference will feature a keynote address by University of Pennsylvania alumnus Dr. Steven Conn of The Ohio State University. Dr. Conn is the author of the forthcoming book, Americans Against the City: Anti-Urbanism in the Twentieth Century. The conference will also feature panel presentations by Ohio University and Contemporary History Institute alumni who are leading scholars in their respective fields.
Interested students are asked to submit a 200-250 word abstract and a current C.V. to ohiohgsa@gmail.com. The deadline for abstract submissions is November 4, 2014. If selected, participants should submit a draft or final paper along with a $20 registration fee by January 15, 2015.
